Ingredients of Onion Bhaji Pakora
- Prepare 1 kg of Red Lentils.
- You need 5 of Onions.
- Prepare 1 of little bit of Coriander.
- You need 1 of handfull of green chilli.
- It's 3 1/2 Tbsp of Hot Curry powder.
- It's 1 tbsp of salt.
- It's 1/4 tsp of tumeric powder.
- It's of Oil to fry.
Onion Bhaji Pakora step by step
- Soak Red lentils overnight in water.
- Once soaked overnight, wash all thoroughly..
- Now place half of your lentils in a blender!.
- Blend away on low making sure you don't over blend it it should be quite mushy and not too liquidy..
- Now blend the other batch the same way!.
- Now cut up your green chillies and onions and place in a bowl and coriander.
- Mix salt and Curry powder with your onion green chilli and coriander mix.
- Add in your red lentils and tumeric powder to the Curry mix..
- Now heat your oil on high.
- Once oil is hot, with your hands, pick up a little bit of Bhaji mix and drop into oil carefully..
- You can fit around at least 8 at a time depending on how big you make it!.
- Take out when it becomes slight brown rather than golden.
