Ingredients of Potli Pickle

  1. It's 1 kg of green mango.
  2. It's 2 packets of bedekar pickle masala.
  3. You need as per taste of Salt.
  4. It's 5 tbsp of red chilli powder.
  5. It's 3 tbsp of turmeric powder.
  6. You need 1 tbsp of onion seeds.
  7. Prepare 1/2 ltr of mustard oil or as needed less or more.

Potli Pickle instructions

  1. Gather all the ingredients.
  2. Wash and wipe all the green mangoes and great with grated.
  3. Add salt and turmeric powder mix all properly and keep aside for 2 hours.
  4. Now squeezed the grated mangoes, separate the released water.
  5. Heat the oil when it release smoke switch off the flame.
  6. When I oil comes In the room temperature add red chilli powder and onion seeds.
  7. Mix properly then, add ready to mix pickle masala.
  8. Mix it properly,then add it in grated mangoes.
  9. Mix all ingredients properly.
  10. Now cut the Muslim cloth in 6 by 6 inch in pieces to feel the prepared pickle.
  11. In this muslin cloth put one or two spoon of pickles and knot it, and put in the glass jar all pickle potlis.
  12. Airtight the the jar with lid and potli pickle is ready.
  13. If needed add some more oil in the jar to cover the potlis,so that it will never spoil.
