Ingredients of Green Chilli Pickle

  1. Prepare 8-10 of Green Chilli.
  2. Prepare 1/4 tsp of Fenugreek seeds/Methi.
  3. Prepare 2 tsp of Mustard seeds/Rai.
  4. You need 1 tsp of Fennel seeds/Saunf.
  5. You need 1/2 tsp of Cumin seeds /Jeera.
  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder/Haldi.
  7. It's 1 of Lemon.
  8. You need 1/4 Cup of Oil.
  9. You need To taste of Salt.

Green Chilli Pickle step by step

  1. Wash,clean and pat dry the green chillies.Remove the head of chilli and cut into pieces.If you want you can keep them long and make a slit..
  2. Dry roast all the spices for a minute under low flame.Cool them completely and grind them into a coarse powder..
  3. Transfer the masala powder onto chillies,add turmeric,salt and lemon extract.Mix everything well and keep aside..
  4. Now heat 1/4 C oil.Use mustard oil for more flavours..
  5. Once the oil is hot,add a pinch of asafoetida/hing and switch off the flame. Cool it completely and pour it to the chilli mixture.Add vinegar(optional)for longer preservation.Your pickle is ready and you can consume it after two hours or keep it under sun for 2 days, for further flavours.😋.
