- When the mixture starts to thicken add the sugar and bring back to simmer, stirring frequently until it resembles jam (around 10 minutes).
- Add salt and spices, stir well for 2-3 minutes..
- Add the vinegar and stir to combine, cook for 2- 3 minutes..
