Ingredients of Chicken Karahi
- Prepare 1 kg of Chicken with bones.
- You need 1 kg of tomatoes.
- It's 2 of medium onions finely chopped.
- It's 6-8 of green chillies chopped.
- You need 1 tbsp of salt.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of haldi powder.
- You need 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Red Chilli flakes.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Black pepper crushed.
- You need 1/2 tsp of Garam masala powder.
- You need 1-2 tbsp of heaped Karahi masala(roast equal quantities of white zeera and sabut dhania,grind it to make masala).
- Prepare 1 of tbso Ginger Garlic paste.
- It's 1 cup of Ghee.
- It's 1 tbsp of adrak ka paani(extract ginger water by crushing).
- It's of Fresh ginger and coriander for garnish.

- In a Karahi put ghee and put chicken.fry a bit and put haldi and salt in it and let it cook on slow flame with lid covered..
- Once the chicken changes colour and is light brown add onions,chopped green chillies and ginger garlic paste..
- Fry the onions and let this Cook for a while,now add tomatoes. Cook for few mins and once the tomato Peel soften remove the Peel with help of knife and fork..
- Once done crush the tomatoes well with spoon to take out the juice in it..
- Now add all the spices,adjust salt. And achi tarhan Karachi ko bhoon ken until oil separates..
- In the end add ginger extract water,cook for a while.garnish with fresh coriander chopped and sliced ginger and serve with naan or chapati and Raita..
