Ingredients of Moong Dal Spinach Pudla

  1. It's 1 cup of Whole Green Gram Beans.
  2. It's 1/2 cup of besan flour.
  3. It's 1 cup of spinach (roughly chopped).
  4. Prepare 1 of onion chopped.
  5. It's 1/2 tsp of carrom seeds (ajwain seeds).
  6. Prepare 2 tsp of red chilli powder.
  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
  8. It's 1 tsp of coriander cumin powder.
  9. It's to taste of salt and sugar.
  10. You need 1 tsp of semolina.
  11. You need of some oil and butter.
  12. It's of Grated Ginger Chilli (1 inch of ginger and 3-4 green chilis).

  1. Soak Green Moong Dal overnight and grind into a batter. Add 1/2 cup besan flour, 1 tsp of semolina and mix well. Add little water at a time. Batter consistency should not be too thin..
  2. Add salt, sugar, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander cumin powder, carrom seeds, chopped spinach and onions,grated chilli ginger and mix well..
  3. On a nonstick pan add a spoonful of batter, add tsp of oil and cook till brown and crisp from both the ends..
  4. You can make thick or thin pudlas as per your choice and apply some butter on it..
  5. Serve them with sweet mango pickle which goes best with chilas..
  6. Serve hot with tea, cofee.
