Ingredients of Moong Dal Spinach Pudla
- It's 1 cup of Whole Green Gram Beans.
- It's 1/2 cup of besan flour.
- It's 1 cup of spinach (roughly chopped).
- Prepare 1 of onion chopped.
- It's 1/2 tsp of carrom seeds (ajwain seeds).
- Prepare 2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
- It's 1 tsp of coriander cumin powder.
- It's to taste of salt and sugar.
- You need 1 tsp of semolina.
- You need of some oil and butter.
- It's of Grated Ginger Chilli (1 inch of ginger and 3-4 green chilis).
Moong Dal Spinach Pudla instructions
- Soak Green Moong Dal overnight and grind into a batter. Add 1/2 cup besan flour, 1 tsp of semolina and mix well. Add little water at a time. Batter consistency should not be too thin..
- Add salt, sugar, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander cumin powder, carrom seeds, chopped spinach and onions,grated chilli ginger and mix well..
- On a nonstick pan add a spoonful of batter, add tsp of oil and cook till brown and crisp from both the ends..
- You can make thick or thin pudlas as per your choice and apply some butter on it..
- Serve them with sweet mango pickle which goes best with chilas..
- Serve hot with tea, cofee.
