Ingredients of Chickpea Patties
- Prepare 1 can of garbanzo beans.
- It's 1 of small boiled potato roughly chopped.
- Prepare 1 of onion chopped fine.
- Prepare Handful of parsley or coriander leaves chopped.
- It's 1 of green chilli chopped or half tsp red chilli powder or flakes.
- You need 1 inch of ginger and 3 cloves garlic roughly chopped.
- You need of Oil for pan frying.
- Prepare to taste of Salt and Pepper.
Chickpea Patties instructions
- In food processor, add chickpeas, potato, ginger, garlic and chilli, pulse to coarse consistency, add onions, salt and pepper, parsley and mix well, set aside 10 minutes.
- Place griddle on medium heat, wet palms, and roll handful of the mix into Patties.
- Add about 1tbsp oil to griddle, now place Patties on griddle and cook each side until golden brown about 2-3 minutes each side.
- Serve with salad, or as a side to mains.
