Ingredients of Healthy Bean Burger
- Prepare 200 gms of mixed red kidney beans and lack eyes beans.
- It's 1 of medium sized potato.
- It's 100 gm of green peas.
- You need 1 Tbsp of all spice powder.
- It's 1 Tbsp of salt.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of red chilli flakes.
- It's 1 tbsp of oregano powder.
- You need 100 gm of fresh parsley leaves.
- Prepare 200 gms of fresh bread crumbs.
- You need 1 Tbsp of oil for baking.
- You need 3-4 of cleaned lettuce leave.
- Prepare 1 of onion sliced into rings.
- It's 1 of tomato sliced into rings.
- Prepare 4-5 Tbsp of grated mozzarella cheese.
Healthy Bean Burger instructions
- Boil beans, potato and green peas until soft. Mash each separated.
- Add the green peas and beans to the mashed potato and mix well.
- Add all spice powder, 1 ts oregano and red chilli flakes and parsley leaves.
- Spread some fresh bread crumbs on a plate ready.
- Make medium sized patties out of the Bean-potato mix and coat them well with bread crumbs.
- Align them on a baking tray and brush 1 Tb oil.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes at 180 degree celcius or until brown and crisp.
- Slice burger buns into halves and place a lettuce leaf on the base.
- Place the burger patty and TOP with 2-3 onion and tomato rings and season with remaining oregano and red chilli flakes.
- Add 1 Tb grated mozzarella cheese and microwave for 2 minutes.
- Serve warm with ketchup.
