Ingredients of Healthy Bean Burger

  1. Prepare 200 gms of mixed red kidney beans and lack eyes beans.
  2. It's 1 of medium sized potato.
  3. It's 100 gm of green peas.

  5. It's 1 Tbsp of salt.
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp of red chilli flakes.
  7. It's 1 tbsp of oregano powder.
  8. You need 100 gm of fresh parsley leaves.
  9. Prepare 200 gms of fresh bread crumbs.
  10. You need 1 Tbsp of oil for baking.
  11. You need 3-4 of cleaned lettuce leave.
  12. Prepare 1 of onion sliced into rings.
  13. It's 1 of tomato sliced into rings.
  14. Prepare 4-5 Tbsp of grated mozzarella cheese.

Healthy Bean Burger instructions

  1. Boil beans, potato and green peas until soft. Mash each separated.
  2. Add the green peas and beans to the mashed potato and mix well.
  3. Add all spice powder, 1 ts oregano and red chilli flakes and parsley leaves.
  4. Spread some fresh bread crumbs on a plate ready.
  5. Make medium sized patties out of the Bean-potato mix and coat them well with bread crumbs.
  6. Align them on a baking tray and brush 1 Tb oil.
  7. Bake for 5-7 minutes at 180 degree celcius or until brown and crisp.
  8. Slice burger buns into halves and place a lettuce leaf on the base.
  9. Place the burger patty and TOP with 2-3 onion and tomato rings and season with remaining oregano and red chilli flakes.
  10. Add 1 Tb grated mozzarella cheese and microwave for 2 minutes.
  11. Serve warm with ketchup.
